After receiving more votes than Kameda Seika had imagined, they launched the "Ratio Review Committee" in January 2020 with the aim of commercializing and launching the new golden ratio of 7:3 !
50 Years of History
50 years of being loved by everyone!
It has been 50 years since Kameda's Kaki no Tane first contained peanuts. Here is a partial history of the package so far.
1966: Peanuts were added to Kameda's Kaki no Tane. At the time of its birth, the ratio of peanuts to persimmon seeds was 7:3; later, in response to customer requests, the ratio was changed to 6:4.
1977: Easy-to-eat, individually wrapped 6-packs were introduced! The fresh pack, which kept freshness, was convenient to carry around and expanded the eating scene.
1980: In the late 1980s, along with the dry beer wars, they became a popular snack item. Beer and Kameda's Kaki no Tane are a perfect match.
1994: Many similar products began to appear around this time.
2003: The manufacturing method of peanuts was reviewed and the taste became even better.
