What is “Oku Hida”?
Oku Hida is one of the representative sake brands of Okuhida Shuzo, a sake brewery established in 1720 in Kanayama Town, Gero City, which prospered during the Edo period as a post town. It is a Japanese sake prepared with underground water from the Hidagawa River has a light and dry taste that is never boring and is enjoyed throughout Japan.

Oku Hida Yuki Junmai Ginjo is characterised by its mild aroma, gently spreading umami and refreshing spiciness.
When you drink it, you get the impression that it is pure "snow", as the name suggests, with few unpleasant tastes or habits. The junmai production gives it a slightly acidic taste, but this does not bother us as it enhances the crispness of the drink when served cold. It is rather pleasant. And because of the acidity, it can also be enjoyed lukewarm.

In winter, it is best drunk cold with hot pot.
